Mikaya is an award-winning Public Relations Strategist with over a decade of experience in communications, she prides herself in helping companies tell their story in the media. With her journalism background, she serves as a strategic partner with organizations to fine-tune messaging and increase brand awareness.
At WRAL, she was the youngest weekday anchor in the station’s history and reported nationally for CNN, NBC’s Today Show, and CBS Evening News. Additionally, throughout her career, she has earned two Associated Press awards and four Emmy nominations. With her Harvard University Master’s degree in journalism and University of Georgia Bachelor’s degree in journalism, she is proud to have amassed a wealth of communications experience that she now uses to help organizations break through the noise.
