Pillars of Everyday Wellness – 3 Steps to Create the Health You Want

Not everyone is ready for a lifestyle change but most of us realize we should be doing something for our health.  Knowing what to do and actually doing it can be a struggle. Unsustainable lifestyle changes become hard to maintain when the motivation wanes, you feel deprived, or results don’t last.

The key to success lies in our small daily habits because it’s not what we do once in a while that creates a lasting change but we are ready, willing, and able to commit to doing most of the time.

I believe that being healthy shouldn’t be hard, drastic, or expensive. Using a 3 steps approach to creating intentional habits around four daily wellness pillars – nutrition, sleep, mindset, and movement – I empower women to take a proactive approach and make being healthy simpler.

Dr Estelle Tsalik is the founder of Living Well with Estelle. She is wellness consultant that utilizes her expertise as doctor of physical therapy and a certified nutrition coach. She devotes her clinical time as an inpatient acute care physical therapist at Duke.

Dr Tsalik loves sharing tips and strategies on how to create optimal whole-body wellness in all aspects of your life.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she has called North Carolina home since 2005. She’s a former professional dancer, a mom of three and wife to a physician-scientist who specializes in infectious disease diagnostics. In her spare time, you can find her cheering on her local NWSL team or quietly belting showtunes at DPAC.
