President's Message

Hello to all of our members and friends at WBON!

Our new term began on July 1st... Not only are we having record attendance at our luncheons and socials but new membership is on the upswing. And here we are with our first newsletter!

We are on the move!

Our non profit's mission is to support, not only through our activities but in a monetary way, women entrepreneurs...we are doing just that. Our November fundraiser promises to be one of our best in recent years.

I believe that one of the best ways for us to continue our momentum is to build personal relationships. I would like to challenge us to make this a " Year of Relationships". Relationships are the basis for all of life's rewards and struggles.

My Challenge to You...

Reach out to two members you do not know before our September luncheon and be ready to share how that encourages you in and out of business.

I look forward to knowing you all.

Deborah Goff, President

Member Spotlight

New WBON member Laurie Nederveen connected with WBON’s mission because she believes female entrepreneurs deserve support through all the diabolical business phases. Laurie has over 20 years’ experience in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment. She held a variety of positions including TEACCH clinician and pioneer of a coaching business called Aspiring Aspies that supported students transitioning to college. After receiving her M.B.A. this year, she joined a start-up company founded by two amazing ladies! She is the Director of Business Development at Edulync, a tech solution for special educators nation-wide.
